ITEM DESCRIPTION: Daryl, the Bigfoot Sasquatch, who protected The Rustic Rooster during a tragic accident.

LOCATION: 15 South Main Street, Cleveland, GA 30528

ONLINE BIDDING REGISTRATION: Online bidding to begin on Monday, January 31st.

INSPECTION: At your leisure. Daryl is in front of the building, still standing guard. Be sure to check out Daryl's casts and all of the get well messages and signatures.

THE TIME HAS COME! Our beloved Big Foot (Daryl) who was involved in a tragic accident on the evening of November 25 is being sold at auction!!! This is an online only auction and will run until noon on February 11th, just in time for Valentine’s Day on February 14. Daryl is over 9' tall and will make a lovely addition to any property. His "casts" are painted on and coule easily be painted over to freshen up his appearance. Due to his relatively young age, he should provide superb protection standing guard for many years to come.

All proceeds from this auction will be donated to our very own The Jericho House. The Jericho House helps men recover from addictions and substance abuse and is an incredible program!!
 

Please help us give Daryl a great send off and support our community, as well! But don’t worry too much about Daryl leaving because as soon as possible, his other brother, Daryl, will be taking his place as our beloved selfie station here on the Square in Cleveland, Georgia!!!

PAYMENT:  Payment must be made within 24 hours of the close of the auction.  Payment will be accepted at The Rustic Rooster during normal business hours.

REMOVAL: Once full payment has been received, winning bidder may pick up Daryl at The Rustic Rooster during normal business hours.

Terms & Conditions for Personal Property Auctions

  • Removal of ALL items must occur during the posted removal period.  There are NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • Failure to pay for your item(s) by the posted deadline will result in charging the full amount due to your card.  You further agree to forfeit your right to dispute this charge with your credit card issuer by acceptance of this condition.
  • There may be a buyer's premium added to all winning bids.  Check specific auction listing for details.
  • Appropriate sales tax will be charged for all purchases unless proper sales tax exemption documentation is provided or stated otherwise.
  • The lots will be sold at a rate of either 1 or 2 lots per minute.  Please check individual auction or speak to auctioneer for specific details.
  • The bid extension feature is in place.  This feature will extend the bidding an additional 3 minutes for any item that has received a bid within 2 minutes of the ending bid time shown for that item. This feature has been added to eliminate sniping and to make the online bidding process more like a 'live' auction.
  • If bidding on a particular lot is extended, the closing of subsequent lots will continue.
  • High bids cannot be cancelled.  Please make certain that you are bidding on the correct item and at the bid amount you want prior to placing a bid.
  • Once the auction concludes, you may be contacted by phone.  Please be expecting the call and be prepared to discuss your plans.

  • Assistance and/or tools are not provided for removal of your items.  Please be prepared with proper tools and labor for removal of your items.
